Ruth MacKinnon Fellowship Award
The Ruth Mackinnon Fellowship Award is offered in memory of Ruth for her selfless contributions to CFB Halifax Curling Club. Ruth personified the true spirit of friendship and sportsmanship. The award was last handed out in 2019 to Mary MacInnis. This year two individuals were selected for the award, Kelsie Trenholm and Lenny Jackson.

Team Phillips NS Curling Club Champions
Teams Phillips are the Nova Scotia Curling Club Champions. They won this honour at the Digby Curling Club over the weekend of March 2nd - 5th. They will now represent Nova Scotia at the Nationals this November in Winnipeg. Well done ladies!

Team Black U15 Provincial Champoins
Congratulations to Team Black and their Coach, Tanya Phillips! They are not only the U15 Provincial Champions but also the Polar Express Champions.
AND they were finalists/runners up in the Harvest Spiel and the Chester Teazer Light Spiel!
Team Mosher - NS U18 Champions
Congratualtions goes out to the Nick Mosher team. They won the U18 Provincial Championship on Dec 31st at Lakeshore CC and will represent NS at U18 Canadian Curling Championship in Timmins, Ontario, Feb 5-11. Last year they won Silver! The boys play out of Halifax but have been frequent contributors to the CFB Junior program!

CFB Curling Club Champions
Congratualtions to the Blair Pettipas and Tanya Phillips teams who will represent CFB at the upcoming provincial Curling Club Championships!

Team Pettipas will be competing in Bridgewater February 23rd-26th, 2023.
Update: The Pettipas team finished with a respectable 3-2 record losing out to the eventual winners. Well done!

Team Black finished as Runners Up over the November 19th weekend at the Teazer Light Spiel held in Chester.
