Dear CFB HFX Curlers,
This is a follow up to our letter sent to you on July 27, 2020.
The Nova Scotia Curling Association (NSCA) ‘Return to Play Plan’ for curling has been reviewed and has met the protocols established by the provincial government as of July 22, 2020. The Plan, along with some associated questions and answers, are available on the NSCA website. We ask that you become familiar with this information, along with the Curl Canada Guidelines, which are available on their website.
As a result, we will now move forward with developing the plan for our Club that ensures proper protocols are met when we open our doors in the fall. We hope to have this completed by the early part of September.

For those of you who may not know, fellow member Jim Ito had to bow out midway through the season due to a rare form of shingles which led to further complications.
Jim is a building contractor and due to the symptoms has been unable to work. To compound this, he has also recently been diagnosed with aggressive gall bladder and bile duct cancer.
His son has organized a "go fund me" for Jim to help with his costs. If you would like more information or want to participate here is the link:
