This award is in memory of Ruth Mackinnon. It is intended to recognize a member who best reflects the spirit of the club through their goodwill and kindness. Danielle McGuire epitomizes Ruth MacKinnon’s spirit of friendship and sportsmanship in the CFB Halifax Curling Club. She cheerfully served as the Club’s Entertainment Chair for a number of years, organizing very popular Turkey and Off Broadway spiels in that period. Her dedicated and personable demeanour have resulted in a highly enjoyable and popular Sunday Social league for participants. Danielle is congratulated on her positive spirit in the club and it is with pleasure that, on behalf of all Club members, she is presented with the 2023/2024 Ruth McKinnon award.
